- Project Type: Electrical Contracting
About This Project
The Engineering Design Centre found on Library Road at the Carleton University campus connects to the Mackenzie Engineering Building. Alliance Engineering was contracted for the project’s electrical work which had to service the overall goal of sustainability and electricity conservation.
The new facility acts as a space for experiential learning where students can learn and research ideas on sustainability in an environment that encourages and reflects this concept. There is also a focus on accessibility with things like barrier-free clearances in workshop bays and other inclusive designs.
